The surf server should be on CSS. Surfing on CS:GO is horrifying.

I'm good with what people actually want. I don't have rust, though I don't have many multi-player games anymore. However, I know two or three of our members play on Gmod.

Rust official servers have about 70% of the playerbase. That being said the Rust Custom servers have the 2 biggest servers on them, and have a wider demographic. For instance if we open a rust server it shouldn't be a simple rust server seeing the hundreds of official ones already populated. The only thing we have on them is an active staff, lower ping, and a forum that actually does shit outside of Reddit. As for the surf server it works for cs go but we lack a lot of components and tuning necessary to make it populated. Our speeds are off, the map pool is small, there are no gimmicks or bright colors to keep the players playing and coming back. No progression system that i'm aware of *might be i'll ask wooki3 after posting* and general lack of advertisement. If we improve on all of those and actually find the time/will to work on the server we could see the playerbase grow rapidly given the correct timing and execution.

On top of that I know very well you have at least 4 players on the rust server to begin with and set everything up, 5 if wooki3 comes along and does some shit in game to set it up. The only thing we need to do is set up a forum or website for it giving the rules for the server and maybe some general knowledge of how our server plays. Speaking of which we need to figure out that, and set up voting systems and in game reward systems to help our advertisement and get the players some loot so they can continue to feed us as we feed them. Guess it works in a sense of we have an infinite amount of fake resources to give them and all they have to do is vote for us which would produce us more players/revenue. (The post above this was a mistake, the fucking O)
